I Shoot Things (RTAM 16 of 25)

Sorry about my long hiatus, I’ve decided to treat this blog much more casually, and with college coming up soon, I really need to get going on the logistical stuff. Admissions are all coming by the 1st of April, but I’m not worried, ‘cause I’m going to be a UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN WOLVERINE! Go blue!

In Combat Arms, that is. What began as a cheap Korean mod of the F.E.A.R engine to create a laggy and glitchy Counter-Strike knockoff was almost hacked out of existence, but is is now an excellent (IMHO) game. There were more hackers than legitimate players in this game. Even I hacked, it was the only way to level the playing field. But 4 months of updates and tons of user complaining later, Nexon finally got its act together, and Combat Arms is now an excellent game. Great balance, decent graphics, and AWESOME gun variety make this one to try out. And oh, did I mention that it was completely free? Check it out at Nexon (the same people who brought you Maple Story) America. FWIW, sacrifice 500 MB of your precious monthly bandwidth (for all those poor souls stuck with Comcast) and get this game. Find me! I’m PeanutsLove and my little brother is DarkKantana.

Okay, so I have no idea what you just talked about :)
Is this the game I always see Jeffrey playing?

  2. Halo >>> any other FPS in my most humble opinion.

Have you started the housing application for U of M yet?

  3. Yup, this is the game you always see Jeffrey playing.

Well, Matt, seeing as to how I don't have an XBox, and that I'm currently on a pirate free software diet, I can't get Halo. I'm going to snatch up The Conduit instantly for the Wii though, it looks SICK!

I haven't started the housing application yet, but I'm going to get to that ASAP.

Wait...is that because I haven't confirmed that I want to go to U of M yet?
